Who is an ADLA Ambassador?

Our ADLA Ambassadors serve as the representatives of ADLA in various cities across the globe, with their main role being to help facilitate and coordinate the implementation of ADLA projects and campaigns through their action either on the continent or in the diaspora. ADLA Ambassadors, both on the continent and in the diaspora, are “Africa-minded” and/or “Africa-conscious” individuals who have a passion and heart to be involved in the development of Africa through practical and evidence-based ways that produce tangible results. ADLA Ambassadors are critical to the work that ADLA does as they are the face, arms, mind, feet, and heart of the organization. Without our Ambassadors, there is no mobilization happening for our projects. As such, we look to work with as many ADLA Ambassadors as possible so that we can take on as many projects as possible and involve as many interested parties as possible.

As an ADLA Ambassador, your role is to:

  • Support and rally behind ADLA projects financially;
  • Support and rally behind ADLA projects by sharing them on social media and with your networks;

  • Participate in ADLA Ambassador meetings in your city, country and region;

  • Assist in the formation of partnerships between ADLA and Africa diaspora organizations and institutions in your city;
